The VS1053 Simple DSP Professional Kit bundle is intended for quick prototyping using a PC with a serial port. VS1053-L Prototyping Board is a simple standalone multi-format audio player that uses VS1053 device and SD card. The evaluation of the audio performance is simply writing the audio contents to the SD card and putting it into the connector.

The board includes a single cell switching power supply, VS1053 device in LQFP package, clock, reset, headphone and microphone circuitry as well as SD card connector with supply signals ready connected. It has also a wire wrap area for adding user specific features.

All of the examples use VSIDE, with step by step guide on how to obtain, install and use the graphical development environment.
