Ordering instructions

Step 1: Selecting an item

Open the desired product category in our on-line catalog locating in top left corner.

Step 2: Putting an item into your shipping basket

Via the shopping basket icon you can put items you wish to buy into your shopping basket. You'll find this icon on all search result lists, many product lists, and on all product info pages.

As soon as there are articles in your shopping basket, you'll see summary of its current content in the top right corner. By clicking "Display shopping basket" you can change quantities and delete items. If you change the quantity please remember to press "Update".

Step 3: Register

If you see "Sign in" selection on the right then we encourage you to register by pressing "Register" below it to fill your shipping information. You will receive acknowledgment by email of your registration.

Alternatively you can proceed directly to Step 4.

Step 4: Checkout

To complete your order, click on "Check out" below the shopping basket area at the top right corner or, if you're on the shopping basket page, hit the "Check out" button. On the Checkout page you may need to enter your delivery information in case you are not registered customer.

You can view your selections by pressing "Display Shopping Basket".

Change the order quantity if you want to order more than single piece, then press "Update". You can now return to Categories to select more items or continue your order process.

Use this when you come to get your order from our office.

After selecting the Delivery method, the form will calculate automatically the costs.

Next you need to select payment method:

Visa or Master Card

The order form will open payment window to credit company in the fourth step of the process. You need to fill (1) credit card number, (2) validity and (3) card verification code. Please note that you need to press "Accept" locating in the lower left corner of the window to send the information. In case the payment is unsuccessful the order process is terminated.

Invoice

Once we receive your purchase order, we will send invoice by email for the pre-payment. Your order will be put on hold with status "invoiced" waiting for the transaction from your bank to our account.


Next you need to select Tax area for calculating Value Added Tax (VAT):

Step 5: Sending your order

After you are ready with the shipping information, click that you have read the Terms and Conditions and accept them. The press "Place Order" button to transmit your order. After you have submitted it, you will be receiving a copy of your order by email. Note that this is just acknowledgment of receiving your order.

Step 6a: Payment by Credit Card

Once you have pressed "Place Order" you are transferred to Luottokunta which is leading secure payment system in Finland.

You can pay with Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard credit cards. For payment with credit cards, you are charged in real time, through the payment gateway. We at VLSI Solution will never see your credit card numbers and they will not be saved on our database, not even temporarily.

Please note than in order to pay your order with a Visa Electron card, you need to have activated the Verified by Visa service for on-line payments. If you are not sure about this feature, please contact your bank for clarification.

Step 6b: Payment by Invoice

Once you have pressed "Place Order" we will receive your request. We will check your order and send invoice for pre-payment by email. We will put your order to status "Invoiced" waiting for the payment.

Step 7: Processing your order

Each order is processed and checked individually by Sales people of VLSI Solution. The shipment method is checked, If ordered items contain evaluation or demonstration kits/boards the only allowed method is "Courier for boards and kits". In case the order is done by individual person it is checked that Total amount of the order is maximally 2500 Euro. And finally it is verified that you paid your order. You will then receive status of you order via email:

In process

All data was correct and payment received. Your order is confirmed.

Pending

Some data is not correct or you may have ordered product that is out of stock, however your payment was received. Sales assistant will try to contact you for clarification. Please understand that this mode of operation is only possible during our business hours and that several hours may pass until you receive an order confirmation.

Rejected

You have sent order but not paid it by using credit card or invoice within one week. If you do not want to terminate your order please contact orders@vlsi.fi soonest and refer your Order No.

Step 8: Shipping

The ordered items are gathered and packed. The shipping method is as selected by the customer. As soon as your shipment has left our warehouse, you will receive a shipping notification via email.

Step 9: Delivery

The delivery time depends on your selected delivery method and your location. The transportation is fastest by using Courier methods and takes 1-2 days to Europe and 3-4 days to other destinations.

Step 10a: Satisfaction / Private person

Should you be unhappy with your purchase or individual items of your order, take advantage of our 14-day money-back guarantee and return those items. We will send you a different product, credit your account, or transfer the money back to your bank account - whichever you prefer.

To return your items, please contact us first to receive Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for packing and shipping. Please note that returned item must be unused and packed according to our instructions.

Step 10b: Satisfaction / Company

Companies have limited rights to return the ordered items. Please see our "Terms and Conditions".
